1953: MARIO, AN ITALIAN ARTISAN

It was the age of what we call "the Italian miracle". The creativity of many artisans of the North-East slowly becomes industry: Villanova company was created in 1953, when Mario Villanova and his wife Anna founded an "artisan workshop", a carpenter's shop that will satisfy the demand of a country in progress. In 1975, the "artisan workshop" becomes a company with the entering of Mario's son Luigi and daughter Angela.

Mario and Anna made the difference. And Luigi and Angela made the difference. And then Antonio, Paola, Lucia, Fabio... Since more than 60 years, this is the essence of a company that grows in the whole world, which does not forget its artisan origins and follows each creation with the care that only a big family can express.

Growing up between art, history and nature

Our roots are in a unique land, located between Venice and the Dolomites, in places in which art, history and nature nourish our culture from centuries. In this place we gave birth to our style, which we try to pass down to our creations. An inborn "art of beauty" instinctively expressed by the hands of our artisans and, today, the heritage of Villanova.

Along our path, we peered over the horizon with the aim of discovering a world which could appreciate the quality of our work. Since then, a progressive and constant commercial expansion in the Italian and international market lead the company to open a second production unit in 2004.
